Awake and Alive exists to inspire hope filled Young Adults through encouraging, Christian community
Are you Single, Dating, Engaged or Married?
Let's take a walk together as we consider God's perspective on these seasons of life.
Every season of life comes with its unique challenges and joys. Some seasons tend to last longer than others and some FEEL like they will never end! So what is the point and purpose of the single life lived out for Jesus sake? What is the real "win" for dating as a Christian? What is the purpose for the time of engagement beyond throwing a party? And what is the hope for a Christian Marriage?
We would like to invite you to the next Awake and Alive installment of this Bible Study on Zoom starting this Sunday evening, May 2nd at 7:30pm. We will continue with our Bibles along with the book "Single, Dating, Engaged, Married" written by Ben Stewart as a guide for our conversation. You can find it on Amazon here.
We encourage you to get the book/download and read through the first chapter since that's where we'll be starting this weekend. We will generally meet every other week Sunday evenings with more info to come.
Please let us know if you would like to join and we will add you to the email list and keep you posted with the links (email@example.com). May God bless you in your journey! We're looking forward to learning together!
The Post Modern world contends there is no "Meta Narrative" or ultimate story that we are connected to. The Bible says we are connected to the only story that matters. So... What is your life all about? In the first of these videos, Pastor and Author Luke Thompson shares from his new book "Your Life Has Meaning".
In January 2020 before Covid, we gathered with 70 people in our third annual Awake and Alive conference. What happened was everything that we prayed might happen. That young adults could find a safe place to share some of their story. That older adults could be humble enough to share the deeper realities of theirs. What transpired was life giving in so many ways. God was honored, Jesus was shared, hurt hearts breathed again and the joy of the Lord truly was our strength. We are grateful for the time, talents and ministries of so many people and to see younger and older generations come together and find a common ground and hope in Christ!
