January 2015 "Freedom"
In January 2015, Awake and Alive hosted its first winter session drawing college aged adults and young professionals from all over SE Wisconsin around the theme of Freedom in Jesus. After starting with some great food, we kicked off the night with a short film put together by our MCs, Mike Krill and Steven Avery, which led into our freedom song "God's Great Dance Floor" with the Awake and Alive Band. After getting a chance to get to know people through some ice breakers we dove into a look at prisons and from where freedom ultimately comes.
