How To Mend Broken Relationships
with special guest Dr. Brandon Steenbock
Relationship challenges are probably the most anxiety provoking experiences we have in life. Be it friend to friend, dating relationships or relationship tension with parents, there can be a lot of heartache when these relationship break. And when they break... what can we do to fix them?
Brandon Steenbock presents some helpful ways to address relationships that are breaking or broken and how we can work together to follow the Bible's advice from the book of Romans "So far as it depends on you, be at peace with everyone".
For his talk, I asked Brandon to send us some questions that we will discuss in our groups after his keynote and I hope these will peak your interest.
1 - "Think about a relationship that feels broken but still matters. What would 'living at peace' look like in that situation?"
2 - "Where do you struggle most: expressing hurt, asking for forgiveness, or offering forgiveness?"
3 - "How can you begin healing, even if the other person never fully understands what they did?"
4 - (Mentorship Focus) "Who is someone older or wiser you could talk to about this? What's one way you could start that conversation this week?"
