Awake and Alive: a Christian Event ministry for the 18-25-year-old generation in SE Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest.

Awake and Alive hosts a one day conference in June and a two day conference in January. We bring together young men and women from all over SE Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest to experience encouragement, inspiration, and community from a relationship with Jesus Christ.  While we are not a church, we hope that our time together might be a spiritual mile marker for those who come. At a time when faith is challenged, we hope to encourage. We want to help young adults take ownership of the awesome gift of grace and inspire them to share it with the people around them.

This year's January Conference theme is "Take Hold of the Gift"

The book of Philippians is often referred to as Paul's letter of JOY and our theme this year is based on his encouragement in chapter 3:12 "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."

We talk about the "Gift" of God's grace that we have received freely through Jesus Christ, but what does it mean to really "take hold of the gift"?

This year's conference will focus on ways we transition from "knowing" Christian information to taking hold of of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As we do this, our identity will shift, we'll view shame differently, and be inspired to bring healing to the world

As we get ready for Awake and Alive Winter Break 2018, we encourage you to check out The Point of Grace campus ministries for more opportunities to gather together as a generation!
